We’re bringing a packed bill of the best Indie the UK has to offer to the Amersham Arms this April. We’re really spoiling you with this one!
After impressing promoters Absent Kelly at a previous show, Rosie Pennie, a 19 year old singer-songwriter, will top the bill with her dynamic band. This Kent based songstress has a unique voice and her love of a good melody sets her apart from many of her contemporaries. Her distinctive soulful voice and passionate, energetic performances serve to define her as an artist who demands to be heard!Providing support is An Orange Conspiracy, three lads from London who play Indie Rock ‘N’ Roll with a retro edge. Their distinctive sound has gained them a host of fantastic reviews, with ‘Small City Big Personality’ writing, “There’s a real swagger to the performance and it showcases some really solid songwriting”.
Bears Beanquet is the moniker and brain child of Adam Baring, who has created a unique sound, blending Blues, Country and Indie into a delightful hybrid, reminiscent of Band of Horses. This has been gaining him a lot of attention and fantastic reviews from numerous blogs and magazines!
Joining us all the way from Warrington for the show is Phase 3. This five piece are pretty much brand new on the scene, but are already turning heads on their local scene with their Indie Punk Poetry!
Greasy Diablos are a five piece band from Northampton who have become known for their ballsy Rock ‘N’ Roll, packed full of thrashing guitar riffs and growling vocals.
Opening the show is Wales’ answer to Jake Bugg, Jack Perrett. Playing good old fashion Indie Rock ‘N’ Roll that has gained him great reviews and radio airplay including from Huw Stephens on the BBC.
