Nicole Scherzinger: Born in Hawaii and raised on Louisville, Kentucky, Nicole Scherzinger dreamed on becoming a well-known singer through a simple boombox and cassette gift which was given to her when she was just 6 years old.
The cassette contained the Whitney Houston 1985 album along with the hit single "The Greatest Love of All".
Growing up, she witnessed her mother perform as the lead hula dancer, while her grandmother being a singer.
She earned her background in performing arts in Wright State University in Ohio and then majored in theatre and minored in dance.
She started in singing as a band member in the group Days of the New, in which she recorded her first album and toured in different places.
But then, she wished for more.
She then became one of the lead vocalists of an all-girl group Eden's Rush, which released a single Get Over Yourself (Goodbye) which got itself to the Top 10 charts.
And even if the group's album had earned a gold status, they decided to be disbanded late in the year 2001. Shortly after, Nicole Scherzinger heard that Ron Fair and choreographer Robin Antin are in the search for talented girls who will form a dance group that will be named The Pussycat Dolls.
It wasn't really part of her plans, but the two men could not let her go as they told her that there was something on her that made her as a perfect girl for the group.
