The Lowry, Salford, Greater Manchester, M503AZ

The Lowry: A dazzling, award winning building in a stunning waterside location. One of the most exciting art galleries in Britain, explore L S Lowry's life and work in ways that might surprise you and discover something new in our other gallery spaces. Opening its door to the best in entertainment and education in the arts, The Lowry aims to give everyone access to new areas of creativity and to embrace its broad community.

Our galleries have changing exhibitions of L S Lowry's work plus contemporary and historic art. As you'd expect, nowhere else in the world can match our Galleries for their vast and facinating range of L S Lowry's work. But there's much, much more, with enticing displays of contemporary and historical art in our three exciting spaces. And don't miss Thermo - your change to buy, take home and enjoy some of the very best of UK contemporary art.

The Lowry collection is not presented in a static way; displays change regularly, so there is always a reason to come back and discover more. Temporary exhibitions complement the collections, sometimes through themed exhibitions about the urban or industrial environment, empty landscapes, or contemporaries of L S Lowry.
