Most Haunted Ghost Tours Black Boy Inn: The Black Boy Inn Halloween Special Haunted Break 75.00 Built circa 1522, it is one of the oldest inns in North Wales.Formerly the Kings Arms and the Fleur de Lys, one landlord bought the other out and created the Black Boy Inn as it is today. Prior to 1828, the Kings Arms was known as the Black Boy.The Black Boy Inn has load bearing walls of up to one and a half metres thick, and four exterior signs each showing a black buoy on one side and a black boy on the other.In the 1990s, excavations were conducted nearby and an old womans skeleton was found. The archaeologists concluded that she had been buried there to save the expense of a funeral. More recently during restoration work at the Black Boy Inn, workmen uncovered a range of items underneath the dining room floorboards including a childs shoe, clay.The ghost of a nun is said to pass through the inn on her way to a nunnery that was once situated at the rear.In one of the upstairs bedrooms a child has been heard crying and when asked are you ok? The sound would stop. Guests have witnessed mists, bangs and voices coming from empty rooms.he cold spots felt in the bar area where it is said a man has often been seen sitting and watching the patrons come and go throughout the day.
