We have an exciting line-up: •Compere: Paul Ricketts •Opening: Bennett Arron •Middle: Phil Chapman •Headline: Craig Murray
Paul Ricketts Compere, Paul Ricketts is an award-winning comic who since 2005 has been entertaining audiences across the UK and beyond. Paul has developed into a much sought after performer on the comedy circuit. Sometimes silly, serious or surreal, sometimes autobiographical, political or near the knuckle - but always funny. "material is smart as well as funny" - The Scotsman “excels as a natural story-teller” - Three Weeks
Bennett Arron Opening the show, Bennett Arron is the only Jewish/Welsh Comedian on the Comedy Circuit. His humour is a cross between the paranoid angst of Max Boyce and the colloquial valley humour of Woody Allen. His television and radio performing credits include; Not Tonight With John Sergeant, Glee Time (in which he hosted a series of six stand-up comedy shows) and most recently he was a Presenter on Big Brother’s Little Brother. Bennett is currently working on a new sitcom for the BBC and recently supported Ricky Gervais on some of his tour dates. “Genuinely original and funny”– The Times, “Hilarious... clever wit... razor sharp”– The Standard
Phil Chapman Followed by, Phil Chapman's playful brand of comedy is engaging and charming in equal measure. With a set that blends anecdotes and observations with a healthy dose of banter, his happy-go-lucky style and mischievous on-stage persona, delights audiences at clubs far and wide.
Craig Murray Headline act, Craig hailing from Dewsbury, West Yorkshire (a town otherwise famous for international terrorists, fake kidnaps and ‘Britain’s Best Market’), charming northerner Craig is currently one of the hottest rising talents on the comedy circuit. He cut his comedy teeth as resident compere at award-winning London club The Funny Side...of Covent Garden sharing a stage with some of the very best comedy acts in the business including Harry Hill, Stewart Lee and even Hollywood legend Robin Williams. Maybe best known as the PlusNet man. “…a great line in Northern humour” – Spoonfed.co.uk “Bloody funny” – Jo Brand
