Discover the mysterious side of the New Forest in this theatrical ghost and folklore tour.
The tour takes place in Lyndhurst and from the start you will be thrilled by accounts of murder, torture, witchcraft and mystery including the stories of Walter Tyrell who thought he had killed the king, the Legend of the dragon and many more!Along the way you will also encounter live actors playing the part of the New Forests most notorious ghosts who will share their accounts including Alice Hargreaves, Harry 'Brusher' Mills and Captain Philip Arthur.
The meeting point for the tour is by the war memorial cross in the car park at the bottom of Boltons Bench Hill. From there, our guide Philip Arthur will take you to landmarks including Red Lodge, The Fox and Hounds and many more.
This tour is suitable for all ages....as long as you don’t mind a good scare or two!
