A chance meeting with a hot-air balloon owning Afghan princess, hanging 300m below a helicopter in the Grand Canyon and breaking the World Record for a non-stop orbital flying machine: 17 days and 18 hours of endurance, surviving being sucked into a lethal thunderstorm over Central Thailand. Colin Prescot joins us to share his remarkable story.
The Royal Aero Club awarded Colin the Gold Medal, an accolade only ever awarded 40 times to company including the Wright Brothers. We will hear how this spirit for aviation and adventure is something that Colin worked into a successful business and onto the Silver screen. As Chairman of Flying Pictures Ltd, Colin has worked with Hollywood blockbusters such as Skyfall, Harry Potter, Warhorse, Black Hawk Down and Robin Hood.
