Wartime Wallop, The Museum of Army Flying’s main calendar event returns with more Wallop then ever! All things Wartime come to Wallop for this all-day outdoor special event. Join the Museum for a bank holiday Monday filled with historic aircraft and vehicles, re-enactment groups and more.
Living History Groups:
A fantastic range of military living history groups, displaying equipment from WW2 to Present day. The lineup includes Allied Assortment, Chalk Living History GPR, VADACT British Red Cross, Plain Invasion and many more.
Blank Firing Artillery:
The Garrison Artillery Volunteers will be attending this year’s event with their display. An Air Portable 25 Pounder artillery gun will be firing to open the event and then in scheduled displays throughout the day.
Vehicles + Aircraft
Static aircraft line up including the Historic Aircraft Flight and an Army Air Corps Apache Attack Helicopter. A host of WW2 Vehicles include Armoured Cars, Gun Tractors and a 1938 Bofors 40mm Anti-Aircraft gun which you can man yourself!

Battlefield South and their awesome Laser Tag Arena are new to the 2016 event. Suitable for ages 8-80 the inflatable arena offers top of the range replica military laser tag fun for all of the family. The fun doesn’t stop there as you also expect to see be bouncy castles, inflatable slide, tea cups and the Joystick Club’s brilliant pedal planes for the little ones.
Wartime Wallop will also be welcoming a range of trade stalls from the local area to their 2016 event.
