Royal Hampshire Regiment Museum: Follow the fortunes of the Regiment's active service including the Battle of Minden, Germany in 1759 through wars in China, Afghanistan, India (the Mutiny and the North West Frontier), and South Africa to the great campaigns of the First and Second World Wars.

The Regiment Museum comprises four exhibition rooms with a connecting corridor. A suggested plan of viewing is available in a leaflet, on entry but the visitor has at all times full freedom of choice as to circulation. Life size models are displayed showing how soldiers were dressed and equipped in the wars of the early and mid eighteenth century, the First and Second World Wars and the Malayan campaign of the 1950s.

The Regimental collection of artefacts on view comprises stands of old battalion colours (Sovereign's & Regimental); medals; orders and decorations; portrait miniatures; paintings; uniforms; weapons; battle 'trophies' and a display of photographs from the mid-19th century to date.

Opening Times: Mon - Fri 10. 00am - 4. 00pm April to October, Weekends and Public Holidays 12 noon to 4pm.
