Join us on the first of our #ConservationConversations of 2018! Hear Big Cat Expert Giles Clark, and have the chance to hand feed a Tiger!
The presentations looks at the importance of reforestation and the resulting wildlife populations once this essential habitat is replaced, with insights into conservation initiatives from Giles Clark, our Big Cat Expert and Ru Hartwell from The Word Forest Organisation.
Ru Hartwell, Forestry Expert from The Word Forest Organisation will talk about planting new forests in Kenya, having a positive impact on the levels of wildlife in area, and the issues as wild cats move in. Giles Clark, our Big Cat Expert will be talking about how to mitigate the wildlife:human conflict as this essential habitat is replaced, as well as an initiative by MYCAT to raise funds to plant 1000 trees in The Sungai Yu Tiger Corridor in aid of the Malayan Tiger.
There will be a chance to wander the site to see all our wild cats purchase a raffle ticket to win a Tiger Handfeed Experience on the day!
The Big Cat Sanctuary will be donating a percentage of ticket and raffle sales to both The Word Forest Organisation and MYCAT as part of our conservation partner initiatives. You will be supporting three conservation charities by joining us!
