Chislehurst Ghost Walk: The Summer of Darkness: The Chislehurst Cave Ghost Walk

It maybe a warm summer? day outside, but the eternal night and damp recesses of Chislehurst Caves prove to be an ideal hiding place for ghosts, spectres and other worldly entities. Join us on one of two specifically tailored ghost walks as we descend into the darker side of Chislehurst Caves and recall stories of sacrifices, spectres, murder and sinister history.

Extending over 22 miles beneath the leafy village of Chislehurst, the matrix of caves and ancient passageways create a confusing and dangerous place.

With a gloomy ambience, an intriguing but occasionally bloody past, it comes as no surprise to discover the caves are reputably haunted. Tales of discarnate beings, black miasmas, terrifying apparitions lurk with the bowels of the cave system. Will we encounter them tonight?

In conjunction with the management, Phantasmagoria Events will offer a truly unique experience and alternative Summer Holiday excursion. On Saturday 31st July, and Saturday 28th August, the caves will open to the public in the evening, for 2 specifically tailored tours

Chislehurst Ghost Walk at Chislehurst Caves in Chislehurst, Kent on Saturday, 31 July 2010.
