Greenwich and Bexley Community Hospice Launch Day

Erith Riverside Shopping Centre, Wednesday, 08 February 2012

8 FEB

Greenwich and Bexley Community Hospice Launch Day: The Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice is having an official launch day on Wednesday 8th February at 9.30am to raise the profile of the new shop.

The Hospice Shop opened its doors last month and sells a combination of new and good quality donated goods including clothing, bric-a-brac, toys, books, collectables, electrical items, furniture, bed linen and small household items.

The launch is an opportunity for the local community to meet one of the charity's trustees, Gerald Peters, Chief Executive, Kate Heaps, and Retail Manager, Betty Sorrell, all of whom will be happy to answer questions and provide additional information about the hospice, the work they do and how people can get involved.

The Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice provides free specialist end of life care for people with life-limiting illnesses as well as providing support for their families, friends and carers. It is the only adult hospice in the boroughs of Greenwich and Bexley covering an area of 40 square miles and a population of 500,000.
