The project that has been tasked with this job is called Gravesend Youth Market (formally known as 'The Interface Experience'. Gravesend Youth Market is a team of apprentices which are looking into hosting a youth market, stall holders, performers and various other activities including live demonstrations in the new market hall.
The main aim of the project is to inspire the young people of Gravesham to be entrepreneurial and get a sneak peak of business life. Also, for those who have never considered trading in a market, it offers new experiences and a chance to have a go themselves. In addition to providing retail offering.

The cost of a stall will be £10.00 which will be payable at a FREE business support session we are holding alongside The Kent Foundation.
On Saturday 10th December 10am – 12pm @ TownCentric, St Georges Square, DA11 0TB; we will be hosting a training session for all of our stall holders. We strongly encourage everyone to attend this session as it will teach vital skills. This session will be hosted by the Kent Foundation (details below).
The Kent Foundation is a charity that supports Young People in Business. This workshop will help you grow in confidence and develop your business skills. We will look at what makes a successful business person, how to set yourself apart in the market place, become more confident and effective with your selling techniques. The workshop will be enjoyable and interactive, and will increase your knowledge of the essential skills required to be successful in business. This is also a great thing to add to your CV.
