Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship: The 2012 British Touring Car Championship season kicks off in style on the bull ring Brands Hatch Indy circuit.
After the winter months, the drivers will be itching to get back behind the wheel, and there is no better place to start a season than the gladiatorial arena that is the Indy configuration, with unrivalled views for spectators.
The BTCC offers some of the most competitive doorhandle to doorhandle action in motorsport, and 2011 saw a thrilling battle for the crown with Honda's Matt Neal and Gordon Shedden fighting for the honours, with Worcestershire's Neal ultimately taking championship glory by just eight points.
Jason Plato will be looking to reclaim his title after missing out last year, while the new NGTC cars should continue to go from strength to strength with Frank Wrathall in particular looking to make the next step up to challenge for wins and the championship.
Support will come from the Ginetta GT Supercup, the Renault Clio Cup, Formula Renault UK, Porsche Carrera Cup and the Ginetta Junior Championship.
