A New Pre-School: Cobnuts Steiner Kindergarten: A Steiner Waldorf Kindergarten for children 3-6 years, providing unhurried learning through creative play
Cobnuts opened its doors in September 2005. It offers a friendly, safe and creative environment for the young child (3 to 6 years old). The morning is structured to provide the child with time for free creative play, in and outdoors, which supports physical, emotional and social development. These periods of creative play are balanced with circle times, for stories, songs and rhymes. Through the use of language, song and little games foundations are laid for language, numeracy and literacy skills later. Confidence grows through daily rhythm. There are also homely activities, like baking bread, preparing for break and tidying up.
