Fremlin Walk is searching for talented youngsters and experienced bakers in their annual Bake Off contest! It’s time to bring out your whisk and unfold your apron, as Fremlin Walk’s Bake Off contest is now open for entries – and this time, there’s a brand new CHILDREN’S category!
Due to popular demand, Fremlin Walk has decided to throw open the competition to the next generation, inviting Maidstone’s youngest bakers to join in the fun. This year, the Fremlin Walk Bake Off will see TWO champions crowned – one in the children’s category (8 to 14 years) and one in the adult category (contestants aged 15 years and over). Finalists in the children’s competition will be asked to bring along 12 pre-baked fairy or cup cakes, and adults will submit a pre-baked 8 inch round cake for judging.
Your pre-made cakes will be assessed by a panel of experienced judges, including Masterchef finalist Angela Langford, who will be casting her experienced eye over your delicious labours of love.
Go wild with flavours, fillings, frills and fripperies, have fun - and experiment! You could be crowned Fremlin Walk’s Champion Baker 2016!
