Sunday 7th August: The Beverley Big Band
Join Kent’s premier dance band for live jazz and swing entertainment with this well-established big band from East Kent. Dance back in time with classics from 30s and 40s favourites; Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey, Benny Goodman, Count Basie and Duke Ellington.
Sunday 14th August: Kent Police Band
The Kent Police Band are based at the Kent Police Headquarters in Maidstone. The brass band is self-funded and consists of up to 35 musicians from all over Kent and Sussex including serving and retired police officers, as well as a large number of civilian players. Dance the afternoon away to a selection of marches and overtures, classical arrangements, film and television soundtracks, rock, pop and even swing numbers.
Sunday 21st August: UK Paper Band
The UK Paper Band play a balanced programme of music to suit everyone's tastes. Their repertoire includes traditional marches, classics from popular musicals, popular songs and some more unusual pieces ensuring there is something to get everyone’s feet tapping!
Sunday 28th August: Bromley Concert Band
Bromley Concert Band has been delighting crowds for over 50 years, with professional performances of popular pieces from shows, military and classical genres. Led by entertaining Musical Director Martin Gibbs, enjoy the sunshine and a fantastic afternoon of live music.
The bands will be playing at 11.30am, 1.30pm & 3.30pm. Each performance will last approximately 45 mins and will take place on our Pavillion Lawn. Chairs are not provided but you are welcome to bring your own lightweight chair or a rug to sit on.
