Record and CD Collector Fair

Crofton Halls, Sunday, 04 March 2012

4 MAR

Record and CD Collector Fair: These events are held at Crofton Halls, Orpington (next to the railway station) on the first Sunday of every month. All genres from years gone by to present day. The fair has just about everything; there are dealers who are highly specialised in very collectable material, but there are also dealers who offer bargains and very inexpensive records and CDs. It is therefore a fair for both collectors and bargain hunters. You will find vinyl records (7' and LP, picture discs and coloured vinyl), memorabilia and CDs. The occasional music lover can also find cheap records and CDs. Your old vinyl and CD's also bought at the event, tele: 07742 953200 or e-mail your info and details to bionic_records@hotmail.com . Next events are on Sunday 4th March and Sunday 1st April.

Doors Open at 10.00am until 4.00pm. Admission £1. Free Parking. Refreshments available.

FEATUREIWrestledABearOnce Interview

Forest Gump's momma always used to say Iwrestledabearonce's music is like a box of chocolates; you never know what you're gonna get. Well, she didn't say it specifically about them, but with a mish-mash of jazz, electro beats, swing, easy listening, metal and grindcore in their songs; Iwrestledabearonce (IWABO) have, without a doubt, created a unique sound in which you have no idea what will happen next.

FEATUREYou and What Army band interview

Telford-based electro-rock band You and What Army describe themselves as "having unforgivingly catchy trance synths that soar over tectonic-plate-shatteringly heavy guitar riffs, dancefloor-destroyingly awesome basslines and lowrider-cruisingly phat beats, with the narrated apocalypse rapped, sung and screamed wildly into the fray."
