Fawlty Towers Live on Stage

Granville Theatre, Tuesday, 28 February 2012 - Saturday, 03 March 2012

Fawlty Towers Live on Stage: Fans of the British sitcom Fawlty Towers will be thrilled at the prospect of seeing the show recreated live on stage at the Granville Theatre this February.

East Kent Productions will perform three classic episodes from the television series: The Hotel Inspector', Communication Problems' and The Germans' from Tuesday 28 February to Saturday 3 March at 7.30pm.

Incredibly, when John Cleese and Connie Booth first submitted their scripts for Fawlty Towers to the BBC they were not at all well received. But, after the success of Monty Python the BBC decided to trust Cleese's judgement, and the result was one of the most treasured and influential comedies of all time.

Taking on the challenge of bringing the show to the stage are East Kent Productions, who are developing a reputation for producing top quality comedy. Previous performances have included stage adaptations of Are You Being Served' and Shut Your Eyes and Think of England'.

With such a passionate, experienced and capable team behind the show, Granville theatregoers can expect a top-quality stage production which promises to more than do justice to the television series.
