No Jacket Required

Assembly Hall Theatre, Friday, 30 March 2012

30 MAR

No Jacket Required: When Phil Collins announced his retirement earlier this year, he brought down the curtain on a multi-million selling, award-winning career, spanning 40 years as a recording artist.

No Jacket Required recreates the live experience of a Phil Collins show, with an 11-piece band performing over two hours of hits such as You Can't Hurry Love, Sussudio and the classic In The Air Tonight. With album tracks and a little Genesis thrown in for good measure, this is a show not to be missed.

'There's so much to choose from, it's hard to decide what to leave out of our shows!' says No Jacket Required frontman Dave Whitehouse. 'While the emphasis is on the music, it's also a live spectacle and we all have a lot of fun. Our audience is made up of all ages, from 8 to 80 ' there's something for everyone in our shows'. The band is in its ninth year now, and has performed all over the country as well as overseas, to appreciative full houses. Prior to that, Dave spent five years in a Genesis tribute, making him the UK's most established Phil Collins tribute artist.

No Jacket Required receive great reviews whenever they play, with many saying the band are so close to the original that you can hardly tell the difference. Don't miss them on their first visit to the Assembly Hall Theatre.
