Boyzone: Formed by Louis Walsh in 1993 the Boyzone lads responded to an advert in the media for members of a new boy band to rival TakeThat.

Keith Duffy, Mikey Graham, Shane Lynch, Ronan Keating and Stephen Gately eventually made the final line-up and became one of the most successful bands in the UK and Ireland.

By 2009, Boyzone had sold approximately 20 million records.

The band split in 1999 to pursue separate solo careers then later reformed in 2007 hot on the heels of Take That's comeback success.

They are due to release a new album mid 2011 and are touring during February and March.
