Changing Tack: Changing Tack deals with a young man who is thinking of leaving school, as he cannot see any reason for finishing, given the lack of opportunities available to him (because of the recession). His grandfather tries to convince him to stay, using examples from Govans history.
The piece is a multi-media performance in colloboration with S.A.T. and the Govan Gaelic Choir which will use dance, photography, song and poetry to tell a story which hopes to reveal Govans past, present, and future. As part of the project, we have tried to engage young people in the area
to participate in our Chorus.
