Experience history depicted like never before at Arundel Castle's 15th-century Wars of the Roses family eventKing Edward IV, Duke of York, faces rebellion from the supporters of the former King, Henry VI, Duke of LancasterFor one weekend only, Arundel Castle serves as the backdrop for an imaginary Lancastrian raiding party engaging with Yorkist forces, bringing to life a turbulent period in England's history
The festival will feature three tented encampments showcasing 15th-century crafts, including forging, leather work, cooking, weapons, and armourVisitors can also participate in hands-on activities, such as archery, axe throwing, and warrior training, and younger guests can also get involved in Arundel Castle’s renowned ‘kids battles’Falconry demonstrations, medieval music performances, fire eating, artillery demonstrations and skirmishes will add to the immersive experience
