There is a reason that horror films continue to be popular and why we flock to see them. But there is very little worse than a bad horror film, instead of scares you get laughs, instead of tension, boredom. On this course you will be taught the skills to make a tense, taut, terrifying short film.
Devised from an original idea created by the group, students will work as a professional crew to develop their concept into a fully realised short film.
After the course, the footage shot will be sent out to students to allow them to edit in their own spare time. For students without access to editing software the footage will be edited together and sent on, or they can attend our Editing Weekend course, where they will learn the skills required to edit a film and have access to the footage they worked on from this course.
