EDINBURGH FESTIVAL PREVIEW ALL-DAYER AT BAR ONE, DERBY

Funhouse Comedy brings another outstanding day of comedy to the beer garden stage at Bar One, Derby on Sunday July 23rd with its second Edinburgh Festival Preview All-Dayer.

2.00pm – Hudson and Hudson – Married at First Sleight
What happens when two magicians get married? Is life full of magic surprises or do they still have petty arguments over who's taking the bins out? Can you ever relax when your partner is constantly playing tricks on you in the middle of a boxset? Alan and Kat Hudson from Britain's Got Talent, winner of Penn and Teller: Fool Us and star of West End's Wonderville, join forces for the first time as a double act in a magic comedy show that could lead them to fame and fortune. Or divorce.

3.25pm – Samantha Day – The Booby Trap
Following the success of her hit show Careering, Samantha Day is back at the Fringe with The Booby Trap! Breasts loom large in our culture – but why? Samantha gets her tit jokes out and exposes some big... issues. Sophisticated, interesting and funny, the Comedy Store King Gong Winner 2022, New Comedian of the Year Winner Southport Comedy Festival 2022, and Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year finalist 2022 is 'the real deal, a fresh voice tempered by a life full of square peg experience' (Nick Page, English Comedian of the Year).

4.50pm – Steve.N,Allen – Alzheimer’s? I Can’t Even Remember How to Spell It.
Dementia isn't a laughing matter, but neither is the loss of both your parents during the pandemic and the tricky birth of your first child. And yet, somehow, that's what Steve N Allen has to play with and discusses in this show. Caring for someone with Alzheimer's has its funny moments, which some people feel bad talking about... But it's important to highlight that there are many lighter moments against the darkness.

6.15pm – Martin Mor - Is a Deadly Ejeet
A new hour of stand-up comedy and storytelling from globetrotting Irishman Martin Mor. After almost 40 years as a professional performer, Martin has a lot to talk about. Come along and have a good auld laugh. 'An adorable master of feel good comedy' (TheClothesLine.comau).

7.30pm – Raul Kohli – Raul Britannia (Full Inglish)
Award-winning comedian Raul Kohli considers himself British Indian or Inglish. He has lived in every corner of this glorious nation and is fascinated by the diversity within Britain – from Chinese kids with John Bishop's accent to white kids from Bradford with Indian accents stronger than his dad's.

8.45pm – Dave Bibby – Baby Dinosaur
Dave Bibby, 'madcap musical-character-sketch comedy pioneer' (BroadwayWorld.com), is back with a show about parenthood and dinosaurs. Packed with songs, sketches and *ahem* multi award-winning stand-up. 'Could develop cult status' **** (BroadwayBaby.com).
