The event is part of B&Q’s half term family fun activity and is happening in various stores around the country. The aim is to get budding horticulturalist inspired about growing their own produce and getting their outdoor space, no matter the size, ready for the luscious Spring season.
Matt Campbell, Store Manager at B&Q Bury explained: “With the half term bringing in lighter days and more time spent together, our workshops offer the perfect chance for families to their outdoor space ready for Spring. These activities will help keep the children entertained while teaching them fun new skills. Our knowledgeable staff are also going to be on hand to advise grown-ups on and outdoor related questions they may have.”
Tuesday 13th February 10-12pm & 1-3pm: Grow your own mini vegetable garden
Wednesday 14th February 10-12pm & 1-3pm: Spring arts & crafts
Thursday 15th February 10-12pm & 1-3pm: Create a mosaic pot and plant a pollinator
All activities are FREE of charge and run on a first come first served basis. All workshops are suitable for aged 4+.
