We’re going on a bear hunt! Join us this Easter weekend for a bear filled family adventure at Botany Bay.

Join us this Easter weekend (Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon) for a bear filled family adventure at Botany Bay. Hunt to find all our cuddly teddy bears hidden around the mill, find them all to claim a FREE chocolatey treat and certificate!

Pick up and return your hunt card at our Bear Bungalow in the garden centre, where our Botany Bay Big Bear will be on hand to offer hints and tips for how to find the hidden bears. Plus, enter our free prize draw for your chance to WIN one of 15 build-a-bear experiences with Your Cuddly Creations.

The Botany Bay Bear Hunt – FREE, 10am – 4pm
Hunt to find our cuddly teddy bears hidden around the mill. Each bear, supplied by Your Cuddly Creations, is individually dressed and has their own name for you to find.

Meet the Botany Bay Big Bear – FREE, 10am – 4pm
Visit the Botany Bay Big Bear in our Bear Bungalow in the garden centre to pick up your hunt trail card and claim your FREE chocolatey surprise and certificate for each completed bear hunt. Plus, enter our free prize draw for the chance to WIN one of 15 build-a-bear experiences with Your Cuddly Creations.

We’re going on a Bear Hunt workshops – FREE, 10am, 11am, 12pm, 2pm & 3pm
45 minute workshops with storytelling, crafts and drama activities by Colour the Clouds Theatre Company based on the ‘We’re going on a bear hunt’ book in our function room. The book will also be available to purchase at the event.

Build-a-Bear Teddy Bear’s Picnic - £12.50 per child, 4pm – 6pm
Build your own teddy bear with Your Cuddly Creations, enjoy a tasty picnic, party games and play in Puddletown Pirates. This is an advance booking only activity - book instore or by telephoning 01257 261 220 ext. 247.

Of course all that bear hunting will work up an appetite! We have plenty of tasty treats in our ground floor foodhall and also a BBQ by Scrumpy Pig and pop up bar by Barrica Wines in our garden centre (available each day from 12 noon).

On Sunday 16th April from 12 noon Smethurst’s Restaurant will also be serving a special Easter roast for you and the family to enjoy (£7.95 per person).
