The Titanic Experience: Enter into a world of fascination and intrigue during a unique weekend brought to you by the Nomadic Preservation Society who will be travelling to the Muni with the Ocean Liner Exhibition.
On display will be history, models and artefacts guaranteed to enthral and amaze everyone who look at these majestic ships in awe.
Although most of the items on show are from the Titanics sister ship and liners from the White Star Line, there are exhibits from the famous
Colne Library will be contributing towards the exhibition with the Wallace Hartley collection.
In honour of the Colne man the bandmaster who went down with the great ship on its maiden voyage in 1912 the exhibition will be officially opened with a wreath-laying ceremony at his statue just below the Muni on Albert Road.
There will also be a collection of costumes on display worn by actors in the 1997 blockbuster movie Titanic, including dresses worn by Kate Winslet.
