LAAF brings musicians with roots in Arab culture to the bandstand in Sefton Park as part of a fantastic line-up of local and international folk, blues, roots and emerging acoustic talent, brought together by Mellowtone for the LIMF Summer Jam weekend

Yaz Fentazi (oud), Samir Nacer (percussion) and Robyn Hemmings (upright bass) present a rootsy blend of Gnawa, Chaabi, and Andalusian music that draws on the rich musical traditions of jazz, blues and North African music.

Bruno Heinen & Kristian Borring
Pianist Bruno Heinen and Danish guitarist Kristian Borring bring their low-key jazz and rhythmic hipness to the Mellowtone bandstand, playing tracks from their latest project, which explores the works of modern jazz pianist Bill Evans.
