Johnny Cash Roadshow

Lowther Pavilion, Saturday, 18 February 2012

18 FEB

Johnny Cash Roadshow: The Johnny Cash Roadshow celebrates the music of one of

America's greatest music performers, delivering an energetic and

entertaining show for all to enjoy, whether you're a Johnny Cash

fan or not. Clive and the band passionately present a tribute to

Cash but without trying to impersonate him there was only one

Man In Black!

The show features many of the artist's classic tracks from the San

Quentin and Folsom Prison concerts right up to Hurt, the

haunting and emotional Nine Inch Nails song, which Cash

recorded only months before his death. Clive John and The

Johnny Cash Roadshow play a tribute to Johnny Cash with songs

including The Ring of Fire, Boy Named Sue, Folsom Prison Blues,

Man In Black, One Piece at a Time, Give My Love to Rose, and

many more.

These are beautifully complemented by a perfect

selection of Clive's own songs like Time and Cigarettes & Coffee.

The Johnny Cash Roadshow completes the tribute to the Man In

Black with regular guest.

During his long and illustrious career Johnny Cash penned, or had written for him, over five hundred songs. Like

Cash, Clive is a talented and prolific songwriter with to date, over one hundred songs in his catalogue. Drawing on this repertoire enables the show to be a new experience every time you see it, with new material and guest

performances by talented musicians and singers.

This really is THE number one tribute to Johnny Cash.
