6 bands, Kidzone, BBQ, Bar, Marching Band - just a really great family day out!
TOTTINGTON’S BIG DAY OUT!
Back for a 4th time at Crompton Meadows (home to Tottington St. John’s Cricket Club) Beryl Avenue, from 12-6pm on Sunday 2nd July. Admission is still just £1 per person (no concessions).
This year promises to be the biggest ‘Big Day Out’ yet with 6 fantastic bands on a brand new stage, the Fire Brigade, loads of great stalls, a new KidZone, the usual Bar, crepes and BBQs….
The day will be opened by the Greater Manchester Police Band who will march on to the field at around 11.45am - so get there from 11.30 to secure your spot for the day! Again, the organisers politely ask for no glass to be brought onto the field, no personal BBQs (or other cooking devices) and for respect to be paid to nearby residents when leaving the ground.
Five bands have been confirmed with one more act to follow - they are:
Heston
This rock band with a difference will wow you with their different take on a great set of songs.
Retrospect
Retrospect are one of the best bands around and are back again with the super smooth vocals from Cassie and a fantastic mix of upbeat dance songs from the last 50 years.
Mustard
Mustard are a great "live" covers band playing a vast range of music from the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, the present day.
Chris Mayer
Tottington’s favourite cheeky chap Chris is appearing this year with a great acoustic set of the best songs around.
The Steve Ferringo Band
It’s great to see Steve back on the stage and after the success of ‘Ferringo fest’ we now have the pleasure in having this fantastic band on our stage
