The purpose of the 'East Midlands Power BI Group' is to help anyone, irrespective of skill level or experience, to become more confident with all aspects of the Power BI stack, whether it’s just because of personal interest or to help improve employment opportunities. There are NO fees to join the group!I'm trying to encourage many new members who want to develop their BI skills and where possible play an active role in the group - there will be many opportunities to present to the group and share your knowledge or help with administration/organisation of group activities.I'm delighted to announce that the group will be relaunching itself on 23rd November this year as we have a new sponsor and a new venue in Leicester. The group's new sponsor is My Home Move the UK’s largest conveyancer, they have state of the art offices and facilities and I'm extremely proud to be associated with them.
At the first meeting, I will explain more about Power BI groups and how they may be able to help its members. It will also be an opportunity for members to have their say about the help & support they may need. I'm also delighted to confirm that we will be joined by speaker David Moss, he's a Microsoft MVP: Azure & MS BI freelance consultant. He will present the training course 'Build a dashboard in an hour' - this will be a great introduction for all members irrespective of experience.
