Last Laugh: Comedy Festival Fun and Frolics at Athena

Shake your funny bones, with comedy of the highest calibre, in our biggest show ever. Featuring seven of the smartest acts on the UK circuit! Last Laugh returns to Athena on Saturday 11 February, as part of Dave's Leicester Comedy Festival 2012. Join us for a whole heap of laughs from Felix Dexter, Rudi Lickwood, Paul Chowdhry, Felicity Ethnic, Annette Fagon, Axel the Entertainer and compere Kat, with live PA from Bizzi.

Kat

Kat has been making waves on MTV Base, The Lick Parties (with Trevor Nelson), The Request Show and on Choice FM. Find out what all the fuss is about with our fantastic resident compere!

Paul Chowdhry

One of the finest Asian comics around, he's laidback, very cool and always has a great take on multicultural Britain - Time Out.

Paul engages his audience in sassy, fast paced comedy, with his own unique take on modern life. Star of Comedy Central, MTV, West End and Edinburgh Festival, this guy has the stand up world in the palm of his hand!

Annette Fagon ''With this sort of retro observational comedy, she's just like Peter Kay would be - well, if he were female, black and from Leicester'' - Chortle.

Annette's motor mouth approach to comedy is compelling and has seen her perform at Nottingham Playhouse and a host of other UK venues. Hear her take on everything from hoodies to Beyonce. A comedy triumph!

Felix Dexter

Excellent, explosive and exhilarating performer....watch him bring the house down - The Guardian

Felix Dexter is an award winning comedian, actor and writer, with a legal background that gives him a think-on-his-feat edge. His major TV credits including Absolutely Fabulous, The Real Mc Coy, The Fast Show, Knowing Me Knowing You with Alan Partridge and Have I Got News For You. Nuff said!

Rudi Lickwood

He's an intelligent one of a kind with something to appeal to everyone - Chortle

Star of Show Me The Funny and The Real McCoy, Rudi Lickwood is cream of the stand-up comedy crop. With credits including Jongleurs, The Comedy Store and Komedia, Rudi has won over crowds the length and breadth of the comedy circuit. Add to this, his recent status in 'Black 100+ Awards for the Greatest Black British Achievers' and you have the picture of a great performer.

Felicity Ethnic

Making her Last Laugh dbut, Felicity Ethnic is set to entertain you with her effervescent blend of 'street lady comedy' that has seen her take on, and conquer, the UK Black comedy circuit.

Axel The Entertainer

Comedy newcomer Axel The Entertainer is one to watch on the UK comedy scene. Energetic and confident, his candid insights are a verbal treat direct from comedy heaven!
