Wistow Maize Maze: WISTOW MAZE
WINNER OF LEICESTERSHIRE'S 'BEST VISITOR ATTRACTION'
Hours of fun for all the family. Follow the fun quiz trail and collect clues hidden in a giant maze whilst you wander through 8 acres of living maize crop. See if you can unravel the mystery within the 3 miles of paths, (don't worry you are given a map and there is a quick exit for those in need of refreshments)!
The Wistow Maze incorporates high level bridges and viewing towers giving visitors stunning 3D panoramic views of the maze and beautiful surrounding countryside.
For 2012 the maze has a 'Sporting' theme, and will be in the shape of a runner, with the Quiz Trail highlighting British athletes and their sporting events.
There is also an Activity Funyard which has a variety of mini-mazes and games, table-top activities, hoopla, bean bag throwing, space hopper track, football shooting game and much more.
Opposite the maze is the Wistow Rural Centre consisting of a cafe/bistro, garden centre, delicattesen, and many shops selling pet accessories, jewellery, furniture, contemporary indoor & outdoor accessories, art & crafts, dried flowers and gifts galore. It also has an enchanting model village with trains.

The maze opens on Sat 14th July - Sun 2nd September (7 days a week) and then weekends only until Sun 23rd Sept 2012.

Dogs are not allowed in the maze and there is very little shade in the carpark. Remember it is agricultural land, so when wet, the paths get muddy, so please bring appropriate clothing and footwear.
