When mill worker Julie Jordan falls for the masculine charms of Billy Bigelow, a chain of events unravels that suggests their destiny is predetermined by the hand of fate. Set on the New England coastline, against the backdrop of the Great Depression, Carousel charts a story of love, loss and second chances.
With a team of over 70 local performers, crew and production team members, Carousel marks a milestone and a great celebration for one of the longest running amateur musical theatre groups in the Grimsby/Cleethorpes area. Come and join them for a night in 1870s Maine as the cast and musicians perform amongst many greats, the iconic ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’.
