The Comedy Club Lincoln at Home Nightclub on Friday 29th July. 3 Top Comedians as Seen on TV.
TONY COWARDS:
"A beaut of a one-liner merchant" - www.londonisfunny.com
Tony is a rapidfire gag merchant with an arsenal full of one-liners, for laughs-per-minute he's a tough act to beat!
His quick wit has made him a sought after act and compere by comedy clubs and promoters across the UK and even for gigs worldwide. Something of a Twitter sensation, Tony's jokes turn up in all sorts of places, from greetings cards to The Times newspaper, even if you've never heard of him there's a good chance that you'll have laughed at one of his gags.
Brian Higgins:
Daft but very funny, William Cook The Guardian.
Brian is one of the most experinced headline acts on the comedy circuit. He moved to London in his teens from a small fishing Village in central Scotland. Armed only with a penknife, catapult and a bag full of tadpoles he set out to make his fortune. Twenty years later he still has the penkinfe. Brian has a real passion for comedy, and it shows in an impeccably delivered cheeky upbeat set, which never fails to deliver the goods.
Pierre Hollins:
‘An unsung hero of new comedy. Don't miss this true professional at work. Bloody funny' TIME OUT
A genuine unsung hero of comedy, Pierre Hollins has been wowing them in the aisles for too many years for you and him to mention. A crowd favourite with a stage presence and delivery style that is the envy of many of his peers, he still appears as fresh today as the day he started. Described by the Daily Mirror as "comedy rock and roll heaven", his act is enhanced by the marvellous invention of an electric squash racket that allows him to fulfil every wannabe rock star's dream –and then destroy it. Described by himself as "far-fetched and slightly dangerous", Pierre remains a little bit of both – and bloody funny to boot.
