A Salute To The Forties is the ultimate 1940s tribute show transporting you back in time to the 40's with flags.
A Salute To The Forties is the ultimate 1940s tribute show transporting you back in time to the 40's with flags, bunting and webbing in true variety show fashion, packed full of stars from the 40s, artists such as George Formby, Gracie Fields, Max Miller, G.I. Frank Sinatra, Andrews Sisters and the UK's no. 1 Vera Lynn tribute, Lorrie Brown. Lorrie is one of the Countrys most experienced Vera Lynn acts and is admired by Dame Vera Lynn herself for doing such a wonderful job of keeping her music alive so beautifully with renditions including: 'White Cliffs of Dover', 'Lili Marlene', 'A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square', 'Yours', 'We'll Meet Again' and many of the old sing-a-longs loved by all.A fantastic show awaits with some great audience participation guaranteed to give everyone a great afternoon. Why not enjoy our 2 course pre-show carvery in our restaurant offering 3 different meats with a selection of 8 different vegetable with Yorkshire puddings, plus a selection of desserts. It's a "as much as you can eat carvery", and most certainly not something you could have enjoyed in the 1940's with such luxury high quality food, style and surroundings.
