22 MAY

Robbie Knievel 16 Bus Jump: The son of the legendary Evel Knievel, Robbie Knievel will attempt to jump over a massive sixteen double-decker buses to recreate his fathers stunt back in 1975.

Robbie Knieval, who has made in excess of 350 jumps on his motorbike and broken 20 world records so far, will attempt the jump , beating his fathers 16-bus jump at Battersea Power Station on the south bank of the River Thames in London on the 22nd May 2010, with his Harley Davidson XR-750, the bike that his father used.

Although my dads jump ended with broken bones and a lot of pain, Im confident hell be smiling down on this one, Robbie Knievel said.

Robbie gained fame twenty years ago when he jumped 150ft over Caesars Palace fountains in Las Vegas.

I can never fill the shoes of my father because he was the greatest stunt guy in the world - the greatest daredevil, he said. Whether I make or miss it, at least I gave it a shot.
