8sixteen32: Pioneering Grime Theatre not to be missed!

The Decypher Collective

Evoke, LCB, Professor D & RTkal

Based on real-life experiences, 8SIXTEEN32 follows four Grime MCs as they strive to balance creative ambitions with the daily grind. This lively fusion of word and comedy with a tailor-made score of beats, rhythms and melodies is a breath-taking, tongue-twisting tale of life and lyrics with a darker look at youth culture exploitation.

Created by The Decypher Collective with the cream of UK spoken word, poetry and music talent, this is pioneering Grime Theatre not to be missed.

Borne out of a unique 2 year creative development process, The Decypher Collective has established itself as Birminghams leading urban music and theatre outfit. Having toured nationally and internationally to festivals, clubs and theatres with their self-coined Grime Theatre style, individually the artists also work in education, have released solo albums, produce music, write for theatre, DJ and host live events.
