Primal Scream: Scottish alternative rock band 'Primal scream' first appeared on the music scene in 1982.
They played a huge part in the 1980s 'indie pop' sound and later developed into a more 'garage'-type band with undertones of dance music also.
They are thought to have sold over 10 million albums worldwide to date; they have released 9 studio albums from 1987-2008.
The band continues to record and tour, their most recent release was 'Beautiful Future'.
