Dave Brubeck one of the biggest names in post war jazz whose albums have sold in millions has probably taken more stick from so called experts than any other artist. How fascinating the that Liam Noble respected as one of the most creative pianists on the scene should go to the heart of Brubecks music and re create such classics as Take 5, Blue Rondo a la Turk and other familiar themes. Brubeck himself loved the album causing to go back and take a fresh look at his own music.
