Googoosh: Googoosh (in Persian گوگوش defined as Swanhawk; bith-name: Faegheh Atashin; Persian: فائقه آتشین) is Iranian pop singer and actress. Googoosh is one of the most famous Iranian singers for different generations. Googoosh is alternately spelled as Gogosh, Gugush, Gugu, Googosh or Gougoush. Googoosh has released 22 studio albums so far. Googoosh was considered the most celebrated recording artist in Iran and much of the Middle East, in the 1960s and 70s. Googoosh has a significant following in many Middle Eastern and Central Asian countries, and has even caught the attention of western media and press.
