Grease: Grease the musical was originally written in 1971 by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey, following the lives of ten working-class pupils of Rydell High School as they go through the trials and tribulations of young adulthood in the 1950s. Grease had its Broadway premiere in 1972 and has triumphed throughout the world.

The musical became so successful that it was rewritten for the big screen, becoming the hit film starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John which proved to be the highest-grossing movie musical ever. Featuring the vivacious numbers Summer Nights, Greased Lightnin', We Go Together and You're the One That I Want, Grease captures the essence of the 1950's whilst tackling social issues, love and teenage rebellion.

This iconic musical is timeless and irresistibly good fun!
