Harrison Smith Quartet: Harrison Smith on saxophone and bass clarinet has covered a wide area from the South African township jazz of District Six to free improvisation and his now favoured centre ground of the great Joe Henderson His two CDs Outside Inside and Telling Tales have been widely praised in Japan Italy and the USA as well as by the Guardians John Fordham and Radio Threes Brian Morton, editor of the definitive Penguin Guide to Jazz .
