International Football Awards 2009: BBC1 Dragon Den's, Peter Jones has confirmed as one of the presenters at this prestigious International Football awards show. Other celebrities including; Bobby Davro, Tara Palmer Tomkinson, Canon & Ball, Linford Christie, Darren Campbell, Tony Cowell, are just the most recent additions to join a star studded list of presenters scheduled to appear at the 1st annual International Football Awards to take place on the 14th of September 2009.
Football fans from around the world are to get their chance to vote for which players they feel deserve recognition. A record 350,000 fans from across the world have already nominated players in 16 categories via the official IFA site. These nominations have been whittled down to shortlists of five in each category. Worldwide public voting began on the 20th of March 2009 @ www.internationalfootballawards.com

The IFA's will be held on the 14th of September 2009 in London and will be attended by more than 1,200 sporting personalities and celebrities from across the world of music, film, radio & television.
Christiano Ronaldo leads the pack by grabbing a record 4 nominations. The 24 year old, is up for- Best Striker, European Footballer of the year, Best Forward and International Footballer of the year.
The International Football Awards was born out of the need to build a worldwide and independent awards ceremony to empower the dedicated fans to decide who they think deserves to be recognized within the worldwide football scene.

As the UK, is the host of the first International Football Awards. Football Fans have been asked to vote for an additional 9 categories as the IFA will also be giving out 10 icon awards to 10 great English players who have left a significant impact and paved the way for Great British Football.
Ex-England Football player and Executive Producer of the International Football Awards, Tony Woodcock added "The IFAs is all baout the football fans and we need to ensure that no one is left out.
