Steve Winwood: Steve Winwood has enjoyed a career as an international recording artist that has spanned nearly 50 years.
His style is blue-eyed soul/r&b/blues-rock with elements of jazz also.
Winwood is famous both as a member of 'The Spencer Davis Group' (albums such as 'Traffic', 'Blind Faith' and 'Go') and as a solo artist with his debut in 1977 and eight further albums, the latest being 'Nine Lives' in 2008.
