The Lion King: The musical The Lion King brings to life the story of young Simba's challenge to fulfil his destiny as king of the lions and defeat his tyrannical uncle in the process. The show features the enchanting musical score from the Disney film The Lion King with new songs that have also been written into the musical adaptation.
The cast, using innovative puppets and costumes, depict their animal characters against the beautiful sets of the Serengeti Plains.
With vibrant colours and dazzling effects, your imagination will run wild as you experience this unique and memorable theatrical performance.
The Lion King:
The Lion King is a Tony and Olivier Award-winning musical based on the 1994 Disney animated film of the same name with music by Elton John and lyrics by Tim Rice along with the musical score created by Hans Zimmer with choral arrangements by Lebo M. Directed by Julie Taymor, the musical features actors in animal costumes as well as giant, hollow puppets.
