The Trilogy Ensemble: James Elston, Anna Hashimoto, Max Welford and Scott Lygate (clarinets)
Originally a trio formed at the Royal Academy of Music in 2007, Trilogy gained another member in 2008 and now compromises four clarinetists. Together theyve performed at Dame Thea Kings Memorial Concert and recitals in Southwark Cathedral and Windsor. They are recent winners of Nicholas Blake Prize for wind and brass chamber music. Keen to promote new music, Trilogy has also commissioned new works.
