Vinopolis Tasting with Maximilian Riedel: Join Maximilian Riedel, 11th generation of the Riedel glass-making dynasty, as he personally guides you through a unique and fascinating wine and glass tasting which will demonstrate the relationship between the shape of a glass and our perception and enjoyment of fine wines.

Two tastings will take place in London, at Vinopolis, the capitals premier wine venue, on Tuesday 14th and Wednesday 15th September 2010. Entry is from 6.00pm (when a bar will be available) and the tasting will commence promptly at 7.00pm.

The tastings will also see the launch of the limited edition Maximilian Riedel Signature Amadeo Decanter. Each decanter is individually hand-made only by Riedels most senior master-craftsmen and carries the personal signature of Maximilian Riedel engraved on the base. This item cannot be bought in retail stores and is exclusively available to those attending tastings with Maximilian Riedel.

Tickets for the Vinopolis tastings are priced at 60.00 per person and include the cost of the tasting, plus each guest will receive a set of four Vinum XL glasses, worth 100.00.

A special discounted ticket for 6 people is also available at 300.00 (to include glasses worth 600.00).

A limited number of VIP Grand Cru Passes are available to purchase for 350, to include;

- Entry for 2 plus 2 Vinum XL tasting sets worth 200

- A signed Amadeo decanter worth 350

- Complimentary glass of Champagne on arrival

- Reserved seating in the front part of the auditorium for the tasting

On Friday 17th September, Maximilian will move to Dublin, Ireland to conduct his first ever tastings there in Dublins stunning new waterfront conference centre. The tasting there is behind held in conjunction with Mitchells, one of Irelands oldest and most respected wine merchants, and information and tickets can be found at www.mitchellandson.com

Aged 18 and over only. Entry is from 6.00pm and the tasting will start promptly at 7.00pm. Please arrive in good time, as there will be no admittance once the tasting has started. The tasting is scheduled to end about 8.30pm.
