Born in Tuscany in Italy, his mother said that his passion for music was the only thing that would comfort him after he lost his sight during a football game at the age of 12.
Named as one of People Magazine's '50 Most Beautiful People' in 1998, he continues to tour the UK, bringing his wonderful voice to his dedicated fans.
